From the deepest of my body waves
In the linguistic ecosystem of seismic events, body waves are vibrations that travel through the Earth’s inner layers. But they can also be read as the very first vibration that travels through our bodies. Starts in the lungs, runs up until the throat, comes out to be projected into the world: the voice. From the deepest of my body waves gathers a year of research about vocal embodied methods of relating to the unstable ground under our feet.
In this book you can find two precious interviews I had with brilliant curators Ambra Lorito and Vittoria de Franchis + a bookmark collecting Stina Fors prompts to explore our sounding bodies.

Scaffold
(May) my body be a scaffold is a poem that imagines my whole body being, indeed, a scaffold. It is a flow of thoughts where I keep on honouring the structure of my body for letting me change the geography of the space around me every day. Speaking of movement, the poem turned out to be quite performative thanks to a collaboration with performer Leidy Karina Gómez Montoya who transformed my words into a live choreography.

Everything you have done in your life is in your own body
In this essay I am capturing the interplay between my grandfather's physical labor and his newfound passion for poetry. Through detailed reflections, I reveal how his hands, weathered from a lifetime of manual work, now navigate the pages with a red pen, crafting heartfelt verses that echo his life's toil. Each line embodies the tangible essence of his experiences, immortalizing his legacy through the art of bodily writing.

The body in the world of design
A book collecting the artistic research behind the project The body in the world of design; interactive objects to deconstruct gender based violence. The work deals with choreographies of bodies, experimenting with how they act and react through the design of objects and spaces in order to lay the foundations of conviviality and care, empathy and mutual attention between bodies. Initially conceived for the Italian CAM centres (Listening Centres for Violent Men), in Il corpo nel design / The body in the world of design activities and interactive objects intertwine in a one-day workshop divided into three moments: Balance, Contact and Common Creation.
